Shamballa is a very private and primal mountain hideaway for my Lightworker \">clients and students (that is always in a process of improvement like all Lightworkers!) on the Coffs Coast, close to Bellingen in NSW Australia.

Shamballa is a place to get back to nature, reconnect with the simple things in life once more and let go of illusions. At Shamballa you can honour the shadow, embrace your light and return to the remembrance and sacredness of your divinity.

Shamballa is located on very powerful leylines and has an enormous energy transfusion power, as well as beautiful views from just about every spot on the property. Lightworkers from all walks of life have been amazed and enriched by the potential and power of the land. It is very special place indeed! |

Before you consider a Shamballa Experience, please note that Shamballa is currently only a resource available for Avril\'s clients and students. It is not open to the general public. It is also not suitable for children. Visits are by previous appointment only. If you are one of Avril\'s long term clients or students and would like to request a retreat experience, please read on.

Shamballa is not a commercial retreat. There is no day spa! It\'s not a hotel, nor is their room service. Expect it to be like a ritzy hotel and you will be disappointed. Expect it to be a serene and natural, unchanged, tranquil space to chillax amongst the beauty of Mother Nature, with some creature comforts to make it more city-ized and you\'ll be ecstatic beyond words!

The energy at Shamballa is BIG! If you\'re ready to step into the womb of the earth and be reborn in a more divine place, Shamballa is for you. The energy is so strong, Avril only recommends that only people who have done level 5,6,7,8 training with her, should seek to enjoy it. This level of training is for teachers, Reiki Masters and students who have done one of her 12 month programs. If you\'re one of these students, please read on.

The Solo Vision Quest Wilderness Camping Experience

For the Solo seeker who is not discomforted by isolation, we recommend you enjoy this experience at Healing Hill, one of the most profound leyline junctions on the property. High atop the mountain, youÔÇÖll enjoy treetop scapes and mountain vistas as bell bird sounds activate your energy.

If you prefer a place slightly closer to other humans, but still far enough away for privacy, we suggest Release Fields or our Mango Tree Campground (which has some lights and a real toilet close by).

YouÔÇÖll need to bring your own tent, bed/mattress, bedding, towels, food, camp shower and cooking facilities. Camp fires are not permitted anywhere on the property, ever.

For this experience Avril can prepare a suggested ÔÇÿSchedule of EnlightenmentÔÇÖ and it may be combined with Activation Appointments, subject to availability. See the information below on these special treats.

In order to make this sacred healing space available to everyone, prices are kept as low as possible. The following details the cost and ÔÇÿextrasÔÇÖ you can enjoy with this experience.

The Glamping Experience

Shamballa is ÔÇÿWhere Spirit Meets EarthÔÇÖ, but if youÔÇÖre from the city, sometimes a little more comfort can help you enjoy the camping experience. Glamping is a shortened word describing ÔÇÿglamorous campingÔÇÖ! Whilst we arenÔÇÖt yet able to make Shamballa as fancy as some Glamping retreats, here is what you can expect with this experience.

Your 4 metre by 2.4 metre tent will be set up for your ÔÇÿcheck inÔÇÖ time. A fluffy duck-down doona and soft bedding awaits you in your wooden framed, off-the-floor queen bed or metal framed off the floor double bed. Inside your tent, youÔÇÖll also have a bench to place your things on and a meditation chair and table, to relax.

YouÔÇÖll need to bring your own food, but will have use of our makeshift camping kitchen. You will need to wash up your own dishes and cook your own food.
You will be able to enjoy our special outdoor nature shower, which is totally private and bug free with hot solar shower and crystalline charged refreshing waters.

With a real toilet just between 20-50 well lit metres away (depending on the spot you choose), midnight toilet visits will be much more graceful! (Let us know how close you would prefer to be).

The idea of this experience is to take some of the pressure out of the nature experience, by providing you with a ready-to-go camp site and a comfy place to chillax and unwind.

The Sanctuary Studio Experience

ShamballaÔÇÖs Sanctuary Studio is connected to the main lodge. YouÔÇÖll stay in your own 13 metre by 6 metre studio apartment, complete with its own kitchenette, cooking facilities, fridge, sink, king bed, double shower and two toilets. Bedding and towels are provided.

From each window youÔÇÖll be able to gaze out over the mountains, enjoy the bird songs and feel renewed as you enjoy the sun rise each morning.

With Satellite Internet access on your wireless devices, hot water on demand, lounges to spread out on and spiritual dvdÔÇÖs to watch in the evening, youÔÇÖll have the wilderness experience from the comfort of your own comfy space.

With direct intercom to the main part of the lodge, microwave oven, power, lights, duck down doona and soft pillows, youÔÇÖll enjoy the maximum comfort available, while ascending your Spirit.

$95 AUD a night. Check in at 2pm. Checkout by 11am. Minimum stay 4 nights.

The Group Camping/ Glamping Adventure

Shamballa is a powerful place to connect with your human tribe. Avril holds annual retreats at Shamballa. On request it may also be possible to arrange an experience for your group, provided all participants are activated energetically and living in conscious awareness, to handle the powerful energy of the land.

We have a limited number of pre-set glamping spaces, as well as lots of room for the ÔÇÿbring your own tentÔÇÖ self-catering guests.

The cost will depend on the number of guests, availability and what activities are planned with Avril while you are on the land. Bookings must be confirmed and paid for three months in advance and are only available for AvrilÔÇÖs long-term clients or students.

The recommended time for these retreats is a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 12 days. We will accept a maximum of 8 guests at any one time to ensure the quality of experience for all.
$30 AUD Nightly self camping per guest.
$80 AUD Nightly Glamping (subject to availability) per guest.

Your printed report will be delivered to you on arrival or emailed to your prior to your visit. You can then follow along on the daily schedule of inspired ideas, helping you activate the maximum levels of enlightenment you are ready for, at Shamballa.

While using the landÔÇÖs energy to propel you, this can be a special way to get the most out of your visit, especially as it is done individually, without any face-to-face time with Avril and can be enjoyed, whether Avril is available during your retreat or not. Activation Appointments

During your stay at the Shamballa Lightworker Sanctuary, Avril may be able to share some time with you for an ÔÇÿActivation AppointmentÔÇÖ. Booked in before you arrive, these sacred appointments will be held around the land or in the ÔÇÿShempleÔÇÖ, called this because at present it is a shed and a temple! This time is subject to AvrilÔÇÖs availability, as apart from her personal spiritual practise and relaxation time, she also helps others virtually and telephonically, while guests visit the Shamballa Lightworker Sanctuary. If this time is available, it could heighten your experience of the sacred energies at the sanctuary.

During these sacred Appointments, Avril will sit in presence. At Shamballa she can emanate the full power of her presence to awaken your own full spiritual presence. Sometimes these activations involve personal healing, conversations to awaken you consciously, dance and moving meditations, momentary awakenings and more. The History of Shamballa

Around 2005, I started getting a feeling that humanity would go through a pretty intense few year period, as the coming acceleration of consciousness shifted out all illusions from the global consciousness.

Spirit guided me to start looking at properties to help people find space in the turbulence and the adventure began. I travelled along the east coast of Australia, sensing into the best energetic suburbs. I inspected properties and saw all kinds of wonderful places, created a wish list as long as my arms and then one day, Shamballa found me. One look at the beautiful mountain views and I knew, this was the place.

In 2008, Jaie and I purchased the property and since then, we\'ve had such an adventure! Moving from the Northern Beaches of Sydney to the middle of nowhere has had its hysterical moments.

We\'ve spend most of our energy and time cleaning up the land, activating the energy and finally, preparing a space for Lightworkers to come. It\'s simple, it\'s primal and it\'s jam-packed with the most conscious energies, that weave their magick for every visitor we\'ve had.

So far we\'ve had retreat experiences for groups and for individuals. The grounds are kept el-natural. \">The facilities are basic, helping you get back to what life is really all about. Some \">retreat experiences are camping with basic amenities. Some people come to do \">one-on-one work with me and enjoy the studio in the lodge as their accommodation. Some folks come back to just be with the land and let it speak to them, while they do their inner personal work.

Shamballa is many things to many people. Most, after they adjust to the sometimes overwhelming vastness of pure life force and nature all around, dive deep into the energy experience and can\'t wait to come back to do it all over again!

How You Can Help

After just over 3 years of trying to make Shamballa a reality on our own, we\'ve decided we really need some help. The task is really rather large!

While we get to enjoy this land and the sacred space and energy here everyday, we recognise such a dire need in the spiritual community, for others to be able to enjoy, such Divine vibrations to renew, recharge and realign. Unfortunately, the accommodation for others is not finished here at Shamballa, so for now, this sharing is impossible.

Building has already started from the fundraising attempts in 2010, but it is not nearly complete. We don\'t want Shamballa to be a commercial retreat that Lightworkers have to spend thousands of dollars to visit, so we won\'t be borrowing any funds to make it work. Most of the time when you need an energy boost, you\'re not able to work as much and so therefore do not have the funds to spare. We want Shamballa available to every advanced Lightworker and Spiritual Teacher out there who is making a difference. We envision it as a community space, where friends can gather and connect and healing can begin. It\'s creation must be an organic process, as the Universe deems it is ready.

In late 2012, we are going to invite Lightworkers who are part of our online community and want Shamballa to be available to them, to form a group called \'Shamballa Supporters\'. Through a combined group effort and yet only a small contribution on each persons part, this group can help shape Shamballa and make it a reality. Later in 2012, we will be releasing more details of this group. Why Shamballa is So Special

We were absolutely amazed by the power, limitless possibilities and transformational energy of the land at Shamballa. It truly has the power to help you focus, manifest and transform all within, into light, making it the perfect place for Spiritual-Quest-ers to relax and find deeper levels of their own truth and serenity.

Shamballa is located on one of the three key ley lines which travel outwards from the Dunggir National Park. This park is a dedicated sanctuary, sacred to the Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal People, whose \'totem\' (in our terms) is the Koala. The Koala represents the ability to receive visions through introspection and our own dreamtime. The energy awakens your inner warrior and helps you to survive and succeed in the midst of change.

We\'ve always believed we\'re bringing lots of light to earth, we found it quite hilarious however when after buying the property we found out (according to the locals) Shamballa is also located on \'Lightning Bend\'. According to them, the ridge you can see in the photo on the top of this page is the 2nd most hit by lightning place in Australia! \'Bringing Light to Earth!\', that\'s Spirit taking us literally! This may also explain the massive amounts of quartz just sprinkled by Mother Nature all over the property!

When we first felt the energy of the land, it felt very similar to the vibration of Uluru (which is the Solar Plexus Chakra of the Earth). As it turns out, not only does Shamballa seem to attract the light from the Sky Fathers, but it is also based on a rock bed in the earth made of Phyllite. These scaly minerals include Mica, Chlorite, Sericite, Epidote and Quartz. These crystals are all excellent for manifestation, psychic healing and personal evolvement. Epidote and Quartz are also quite prominent in the geology of Uluru, which is why it seems to have the same vibration.

Shamballa is also close to a yang acceleration point on the ley line. Similar to the way Uluru and the Olgas form a yin/yang bridge for consciousness at the Solar Plexus of our planet, here at Shamballa, the yang is supported by another massive geological formation. Different areas on the property support massive shadow releases, while others activate profound spiritual realisations. We\'ve mapped these places and have seen so many Lightworkers benefit from tapping into the exact energy they need. The place is profound indeed.

Why the name? Shamballa or Shambhala (Tib. bde \'byung) is a Sanskrit term meaning \"place of peace/tranquility/happiness\". According to ancient texts... Shamballa is also believed to be a society where all the inhabitants are enlightened. The 14th Dalai Lama said the following about Shamballa: \"Although those with special affiliation may actually be able to go there through their karmic connection, nevertheless it is not a physical place that we can actually find. We can only say that it is a pure land, a pure land in the human realm. And unless one has the merit and the actual karmic association, one cannot actually arrive there.\"

The name seemed very fitting to the purpose and intention we hope to evolve through this very sacred place. It will never be a commercial retreat. It is a sacred energetic sanctuary dedicated to those from all places of being, who have been journeying on the path to I AM consciousness for a time and are ready to bridge their full presence into the physical reality.

Shamballa is not a place for everyone, but it is a place for those who are, one.

Progress at Shamballa

\"Jaie\"\"Avril\"When we purchased Shamballa in April 2008 it already had many wonderful features, which could make it the perfect spiritual haven.

It is easy to travel to, with planes, trains and bus travel close by. It was only 20kms from the coast, making trips to the beautiful local beaches like Nambucca, Scotts Head and Valla, easy. It was located close to Bellingen and surrounded by spiritually minded, conscious people. It had a main lodge with the potential to accommodate up to 4-5 students in small dorm style rooms, if extra walls were added. It had a shed which could be converted into workshop space, 80,000 litres of water tanks, small country kitchen, electricity, phone connected, gas cooking and bathroom/septic systems in place. 2 acres of land were already cleared. Plus it had 125 acres of natural bushland and forests of wilderness to explore. Most areas of the property had amazing mountain views and loads of privacy. There were about 60 mature fruit trees on the property including mangoes, lychees, avocados, bananas, custard apples, passionfruit, love apples, lemons, oranges, blueberries and more. There were three entrances into the property and a guaranteed route, regardless of weather. The basics were all in place...

Since we bought the property, in our (very little) spare time we (Jaie and Avril) with mostly self propelled energy and only basic handtools tools have added: loads of landscaping. We approximate we\'ve moved at least 100 tonnes of earth by hand! LOL After a while we decided on renting a bobcat instead! It\'s hard work! We\'ve created a simple pool for cooling down on summer days, planted mulberry, coffee, raspberry, loganberry and lemonade lemon trees, added a vegetable garden, a Medicine Wheel and outdoor fire pit, a new road into the property (Thank you to Sean for being a Kamikaze Bobcat Driver!), screened undercover outdoor areas, an indoor fireplace for the lodge, water pressure pump, began the Shemple (cause it\'s a shed and a temple!) building renovation (thank you to Melanie and Sean who worked alongside in 42 degree heat in summer!), added two new showers and two new loos, as well as a bush loo for campers, which is (lovingly called the Lightworker Illoomination, filled with inspiring quotes from other visitors, who\'ve been \'Illoominated\'). We\'ve spent thousands cleaning up and preparing outdoor spaces, which still push the boundaries a little for city folks, as they \'bond\' with nature! We have done much work to the surrounding grounds and entry roads. We have already spent around $150,000 improving Shamballa, funds which have been created by those who have enjoyed sessions and \">online classes, \">books or \">cds created by Avril since 2008. So for those of you who have been helping yourself in these wonderful ways, thank you! You\'ve also been inadvertently helping us to build the retreat space as well!

We have recently held test retreats up here for Lightworker Illumination students and one-on-one retreats for seekers of spiritual realisation. Prior to this it was only for Perfect Unison staff and for other conscious friends, with great results. They have enjoyed blissing out on the energy here and had fun times with great friends.

We\'ve just finished we\'re creating a large space in the lodge for one-on-one seekers and couples to visit in the \'Sanctuary Studio\'. They have a yummy king bed to rest on and watch the wallabies hop by. With their own private lounge, dining areas, kitchenette, bathrooms and entrance, they can relax and enjoy the space. Complete with Internet and even your own private outdoor area, this won\'t really feel like you\'re \'roughing it\' up in the mountains!

We\'re also holding more camping retreats. The last one, was a blast! (Pardon the pun for those who were there!) All of the students had great adventures and we couldn\'t have been more impressed with the outcome for all.

These days we can even provide a semi-glamping style accomodation for guests to enjoy the sacred energy sanctuary that is Shamballa. All-in-all it is an organic evolving space with new improvments and offerings happening all the time.
